Joseph Nguyen, LCSW(MA), LMSW(TX)

Hi, I’m Joseph! As a Master Licensed Counselor, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and effective therapeutic support to individuals and families navigating life’s challenges. My professional background spans addiction counseling, trauma-informed care, attachment based therapy, mindfulness techniques, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

I hold a degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and have had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including veterans and those facing substance misuse issues. My hands-on experience includes serving as a Social Services Director in a skilled nursing facility, and completing internships at MHMR Liberty House and Tarrant County Courthouse Probate Court.

I believe in creating a safe, supportive space for healing and personal growth. My therapeutic approach is client-centered and collaborative, aiming to empower individuals through active listening, empathy, and tailored strategies that address your unique needs. Therapy is about celebrating the good days and navigating through the bad one step at a time. At the end of the day, I am here to cultivate a comfortable space for you.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active by playing volleyball, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and singing. I believe in creating a balanced life, both for myself and my clients, and aim to foster an environment that promotes healing, growth, and self-compassion.
